Figs 23, 24 View FIGURES 16 – 30 , 55 View FIGURES 47 – 65 , 72 View FIGURES 66 – 79 , 133–139 View FIGURES 133 – 139 .

Lateral margin of pronotum slightly concave laterally. Forewings in both sexes without lateral small subapical cell present in other species of Signoretia .
Male genitalia. Pygofer with dorsal margin straight, posterodorsal angle almost rectangular, ventral margin straight, ventral process stouter, exceeding height of pygofer, apex slightly curved anteriorly, body of process with several short microsetae. Subgenital plate rather triangular with posterior apex bluntly angled, long hair like setae on outer margin and series of smaller microsetae along submargin of entire length, plate approximately three times as long as wide at base. Connective Y-shaped, arms short. Style without subapical lobe, distal 0.33 curved laterally with lateral margin toothed. Aedeagus membranous, atrium elongate, with pair of slender processes ventrad of shaft directed posteriorly, shaft cylindrical, short, in dorsal view oppressed, subequal to ventral process, gonopore apical, ventral process elongated, each arm of ventral process crossing over each other at base, with dorsal marginal brush like setae on inner margin and without setae on outer margin. Segment X elongate without any processes.
Measurements. Male 6.7 mm long, 1.4 mm wide across eyes and also across posterolateral angles of pronotum. Female 7.2 mm long, 1.5 mm wide across eyes ad also across posterolateral angles of pronotum.
Material examined. Myanmar: Holotype Ƌ , Burma: Mishmi Hills , Chhagkib, 5350 ft, 26.ii.1935, M. Steele, Brit, Mus, 1935-312 ( BMNH) . Paratype, 1 ♀, same data as holotype except 6.iii.1935 ( BMNH) .
Etymology. The species name alludes to the type locality.
Remarks. S. mishmiensis is similar to S. yangi Li in having brushlike setae on the dorsal margin of the ventral process of the aedeagus but differs in having a much longer pygofer process and more elongate head which is depressed and without an anterior marginal keel. It is uniformly creamy white compared to greenish S. lunglei .
