Perfil´ev (1966): southern coast of Crimea; Lewis (1982): krimensis - Crimea, neglectus - Albania, Dalmatia, Italy; Artemiev and Neronov (1984): neglectus - Italy, Balkan Peninsula, Crimea, Turkey, Caucasus (southern), former Palestine, ?Iran (north-western). Wagner (1990, 2013) lists the species (as major krimensis ) from Crimea, Ukraine, and as major neglectus from Albania, Austria, Greece (Crete), Italy (Sicily), Romania, and former Yugoslavia.
