Lahnospira taeniata ( Sandberger, 1842) ( Fig. 5A–C View Fig ).— Seven pyritised specimens with well−preserved external surface and about 170 internal moulds with the position of selenizone visible have been collected. Within the Goniatite Level at Kostomłoty, L. taeniata is the commonest gastropod. L. taeniata has been described from Givetian limestones at Villmar (Rhenish Slate Mountains; Goldfuss 1844, see also Heidelberger 2001). This species also was found in Middle Frasnian limestones of the upper Sitkówka Beds at Grabina near Kielce (Holy Cross Mountains, Poland; see Krawczyński 2002).
