Comparative diagnosis.
Similar to P. ocularis Kohl, but unique because of the long bristles on the fore tarsus (Fig. 319 View Figures 317–320 ), comparatively small head (Fig. 317 View Figures 317–320 ) and its large size; inner tooth of mandible 0.2 × as long as apical tooth (Fig. 311 View Figures 306–316 ); length of malar space 0.7 × basal width of mandible; legs elongate; width of head 0.8-0.9 × maximum width of mesoscutum (Fig. 317 View Figures 317–320 ); hypopygium with small apical up slanted triangle (Fig. 309 View Figures 306–316 ); length of fore wing 5.4-5.5 mm and of body 7.0-7.3 mm; wing membrane hyaline.
Distribution.
Kuwait (holotype; NMW), Egypt (Sinai), *United Arab Emirates. Zettel (1988) reported the holotype to be from Dasmat (Saudi Arabia), however Dasma(t) is situated in Kuwait.
