Taxon discussion

Lomelosia rhodopensis is a rare, range-restricted species endemic to NE Greece and south Bulgaria ( Kokkini 1991). Greek specimens had been collected only from Mt. Falakro ( Kokkini 1991), while an observation from Nomos Serron ( Tan and Kofinas 2020) added a second locality. This is the third confirmed population found in the Greek territory (Fig. 17 View Figure 17 ).
