Scymnus huachuca : García-Coapio 2005: 52.

Diagnosis: Length 2.2 mm; width 1.7 mm. Dorsal color black, except clypeus, lateral margins of pronotum and apical margin of elytra yellow to orange; ventral color black except legs, mouthparts, antennae and last two ventrites yellow to orange. Male first ventrite with elongate area of sparse pubescence and punctation, surrounded by abundant pubescence at center of ventrite; fifth ventrite emarginate, depressed; sixth ventrite emarginate, depressed, with prominent lateral angles. Male genitalia with lateral alae and membranous process on penis guide ( Fig. 70 ); apex of penis guide round- ed in lateral view ( Fig. 69 ).

Material Examined: Seven specimens ( FIC, CIUM) .

Distribution: North America ( Gordon 1976, 1985). In Mexico, this species has previously been collected in the states of Guanajuato and Michoacán ( García-Coapio 2005; Rojas-Rivera 2006).

New Localities: GUERRERO: (1♂) Taxco ( CIUM) . OAXACA: (6♂) Oaxaca ( FIC) .

Discussion: In the bachelor’s degree thesis of García-Coapio (2005), this species was recorded from the state of Michoacán; however, the photograph of the male genitalia showed a tegmen of another species, although the penis was consistent with S. huachuca .
