Remarks. Bellan-Santini (2007) originally designated P. spinosa as the type species of Podosirus . She has since indicated (in litt.) that she intended the type species to be P. v a d e r i.

Distribution. Lucky Strike site, Mid-Atlantic Ridge, North Atlantic Ocean.
