Type locality and holotype specimen: “ Hongkong ” [in error] ( ZMB 5696 View Materials ). (NB: See Frost, 2015, for additional details of the complex synonymy associated with this nominal species.)

Philippine distribution: Basilan, Bohol, Camiguin Sur, Culion, Dinagat, Leyte, Mindanao, Samar (Non-endemic).
