Genus Lepidozona Pilsbry, 1892

Type species. Chiton mertensii Middendorff, 1847, by OD.

Genus distribution. Northern Pacific and northern Indian Oceans; there is one species in Peruvian and Chilean waters. Miocene–Recent , intertidal– 2750 m ( Clark 2000).
