Diagnosis. P. derozierae n. sp. is characterized by its green colour, the black wide colour on the stridulatory area, the protruding downcurved apical tergite and upcurved cerci with an inner spine.
Description. Male. Colour. Green coloured with a black wide area on the stridulatory area. Antennae thin, fastigium of the vertex separated from the fastigium of the frons, face smooth, eyes round, prominent. Pronotum with a flat and smooth disc, the anterior margin straight, the posterior margin broadly rounded. Tegmina narrow, ca. 6.3–6.6 times broader than long, stridulatory area of the left tegmen short. The flap of the left tegmen comparatively small, the corresponding flap on the right tegmen of similar size ( Fig. 27 View FIGURE 27 ). Stridulatory file 0.3 mm long, with ca. 40 slightly arched evenly spaced teeth ( Fig. 28d View FIGURE 28 ). Fore coxa armed with a small spine, fore femora with 4–5 small spines on entral inner margins, mid femora with 4–5 small spines on ventral outer margins, hind femora with 2–3 rows of small ventral spines distally. Fore tibiae with tympanum conchate on inner and open on the outer side, with 3–4 small spines on inner margins, mid tibiae with 10–12 small spines on outer and inner margins, hind tibiae with numerous spines and 3 apical spurs on each side. Last abdominal tergite elongate and downcurved with two apical pointed processes, cerci stout, short and apically upcurved, before their tips they have an inner spine ( Figs. 28a, 28b, 28c View FIGURE 28 ). Subgenital plate with a narrow concavity and two parallel pointed processes; styli absent ( Fig. 28c View FIGURE 28 ).
Measurements (mm). Males. Body length: 17.1–17.5; pronotum length: 4.3–4.4; pronotum height: 3.0–3.1; length hind femora: 17.5–18.8; length of tegmina: 26.5–27.6; width of tegmina: 4.0–4.4.
Female. Unknown.
Etymology. Poreuomena derozierae n. sp. is with pleasure dedicated to Violette Dérozier (ANHRT), who organised all the entomological expeditions to Republic of Congo, showing great skill and intuition in collecting insects.
Distribution. Republic of Congo, Nouabalé-Ndoki National Park.
Affinities. Poreuomena derozierae n. sp. is the tenth species of the genus Poreuomena belonging to the group with the bilobate 10 th abdominal tergite ( Hemp & Massa 2021).
