Acria Stephens, 1834: 218 ; Yuan, Zhang & Wang, 2008: 685. Type species: Phalaena emarginella Donovan, 1806 , by monotypy.

Tisdra Walker, 1864: 830. Type species: Tisdra obtusella Walker, 1864 , by monotypy. Amphoritis Meyrick, 1905: 601 . Type species: Amphoritis camelodes Meyrick, 1905 , by original designation.

Remarks. The genus was regarded by Hodges (1998) as belonging to the Peleopodidae . However, some works still keep the treatment of Hodges (1978). We rechecked the characters of Acria cocophaga sp. nov. and found the species have the adult with Rs and M2 stalked in the hindwing and the pupa is without lateral condyles on the abdominal segments. Those characters are possessed by members of the family Peleopodidae , while species of the subfamily Depressariinae of the family Elachistidae have the adult with Rs and M2 separated in the hindwing and the pupa with lateral condyles on abdominal segments 5/6 and 6/7.
