( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ; Photo 3,6)
Material examined: Holotype male labeled: Thailand, Phetchaburi / Kaeng Krachen Nat.Pk. / 450m 18 XI 1985 / Burckhardt, Löbl // CEHI; 1 male, 6 female paratypes collected with holotype in CEHI and Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle, Geneva. The types are designated and labeled accordingly.
Diagnosis. Small macropterous species with a distinct trisinuate transverse sulcus on pronotum shared only by membranaceus , from which it is distinguished by angular not rounded anterolateral angles of pronotum and by much shorter antennal segment III.
Description. Colouration dark brown, surface submat, median part of posterior pronotal lobe glabrous.
Head. Slightly wider than long (24/22); antennae rather short 1.71x as long as width of head (41/24), length of antennal segments I/II/III/IV = 10/7/12 /12, ratio antennal segment III/II 1.71. Pronotum. 1.75x as wide as long (49/28), anterior lobe narrower (40) with subparallel lateral margins, angularly constricted anteriorly. Abdomen. Lateral margins subparallel, membrane hyaline without veins.
Measurements: Holotype male: length 3.30mm; length of antennae 1,02mm; width of abdomen across tergite IV 1.40mm. Paratype female: Length 3.55mm, length of antennae 1.01mm, length of segments I/II/III/IV = 10/7/ 12 /11, ratio segment III/II 1.71; prontum width/length 1.35/ 0.80mm; width of abdomen across tergite IV 0.82mm.
Etymology. This species is dedicated to Ivan Löbl, Geneva, who collected this and several other Oriental Aradidae and donated them generously for my collection.
Distribution. Only known from Kaeng Krachen Natural Park in central Thailand.
