( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 4 – 7 ; Photo 5)
Material examined: Holotype female labeled: Malaysia, Pahang / Cameron Highlands / Tanah Rata 1500 m / 15 III 0 2 P. Cechovsky // CEHI; paratype female: Malaysia, Pahang / Pulau Tioman / Tekek, Rainforest / 18–22 VII 92 E.Heiss // CEHI. The types are designated and labeled accordingly.
Diagnosis. Largest species of this genus sharing with siamensis n.sp. the pair of large oval elevations flanked by larger oval callosities on anterior pronotal lobe, leaving only a small deep depression between these structures and the anterior margin of posterior lobe; it differs from siamensis n.sp. by thick and stout antennae and the well developed rounded projections on anterior margin of posterior pronotal lobe which are lacking in siamensis n.sp.
Description. Coloration dark brown.
Head. Wider than long (33/30); antennae thick and stout 1.76x as long as width of head (58/33); length of antennal segments I/II/III/IV = 16/9/16 /17, ratio segment III/II 1.78; Pronotum. 1.64x as wide as long (72/44), width of anterior lobe 60; round anterolateral angles of pronotum formed by a double edge, the lower one produced over collar; surface of posterior lobe glabrous, lateral margins nearly straight converging anteriorly.
Measurements. Holotype female: length 4.5 mm; length of antennae 1.45 mm; with of abdomen across tergite IV 1.12; Paratype female: length 4.5 mm, other measurements as holotype.
Etymology. Referring to the thick antennae from>pachy> (greek) thick, stout and>kereia> (greek) antenna.
Distribution. Recorded so far from Malaysia mainland and Tioman Island east of Malaysian pensinsula.
