Leptophyes discoidalis (Frivaldszky, 1868) View in CoL

In the Pannonian part of Serbia, it is present only on Fruška Gora Mt. and Vršac Mts., while south of the Sava and Danube, it is common at all altitudes ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Specimens are very often observed on bramble leaves on the forest edge or near the road. The species also occurs on leaves of herbaceous plants in younger black locust ( Robinia pseudoacacia ) trees.

The adults appear between July and September.
