Type Locality: Thailand, 50 mi. (80 km) N Chiengmai (= Chiang Mai), Chiengdao Cave, 350 m.

Vernacular Names: Shield-faced Leaf-nosed Bat.

Distribution: Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, W Malaysia.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: pratti species group. Reviewed by Hendrichsen et al. (2001 b) and Robinson et al. (2003).
