Remarks. This species has essentially a palaearctic distribution; it is known to be frequent on trees with hairy leaves and on shrubs. It is reported as an efficient natural enemy of Panonychus ulmi (Koch) and Eotetranychus carpini (Oudemans) in vineyards (Ivancich Gambaro 1973; Duso 1989; Kreiter et al., 2002; Tixier et al., 2002).
