Notes. Known only from four syntypes ( IRSNB) and one additional specimen ( NHMW), all males, all from Brazil. In addition to the male found in a FIT ( Table 2), I have seen identifiable photographs of two males collected in Peru: Madre de Dios, [Tambopata] Los Amigos Biological Station , −12.4025 °,
−70.1111°, 270 m, Smith, Hulcr coll., sample Peru 33a, 15 cm dia branch ( MSUC); Junín, 15 km NW from Satipo, Río Venado village environs , 1,300 m, window trap, −11.2811°, −74.7686°, 3.X.2015, A. Petrov ( AVPC) .
** Neotrachyostus quadrilobus (Blandford, 1896) Notes. A distinctive species, previously known from only Costa Rica. The specimens from Peru are the first South American records.
