Description

Keen (1971), Beu (2010).

Distribution

Native to America, Baja California to Southern Peru ( Beu 2010). In Chile this species has been recorded only in Antofagasta Bay (23°28 ʹ S, 70°30 ʹ W), Región de Antofagasta ( Castilla et al. 2005).

Possible mechanism of introduction/Status

Associated with ENSO events/unestablished ( Castilla et al. 2005).
