Sinaloa: c. 1 mi inland from ocean and 7 mi S of Mazatlán GoogleMaps along hwy [15, 23°12 ′ 0 ″ N, 106°18 ′ 0 ″ W], c. 50 m, 1 July 1969, G.J. Breckon & G.L. Webster 942 (holotype DAV-84231!; isotypes F, MICH, WIS-V0255773 WIS!, US-00170383 !).
Distribution:— Mexico (regional endemic).
Notes:— This species was first proposed by Breckon (1975) in his doctoral thesis, but was validly published by Fernández Casas (2008c).
