Type:― Vietnam. Tonkin: Province de Lang-son, environs de Van Linh, forêt, elev. 100 m, 25 November 1926, Melle El. Colani s.n., in herb. Pételot ( holotype P, barcode P 00509925!).
Note:―The holotype has a label inscribed by Rodriguez with the specific name. No duplicates of the type specimen are currently found at P.
