Observations. ARGENTINA • 5 (no sexual dimorphism); Corrientes, La Cruz, Paraje Tres Cerros; 29°08′ 58′′S, 056°51′45′′W. Recorded in groups in open habitats GoogleMaps .
Identification. Differs from other woodpeckers by being white, except for wings, back and tail.
