Female genitalia: ( Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ). Tergum VII densely covered by dark brown scales; henia very long, curved, emerging from sclerotised base of intersegmental pocket, bearing short process directed proximad; bulla seminalis present, bursa copulatrix with paired, linear signum on dorsal side close to origin of ductus bursae, ductus seminalis emerging from bulla seminalis.
Remarks: The males of H. calamitosa are still unknown. In the female genitalia, the short basal process of the intersegmental pocket is observed only in this species.
