53. Anoplodesmus pinguis Pocock, 1895 View in CoL
Anoplodesmus pinguis Pocock, 1895: 800 View in CoL (D).
Anoplodesmus pinguis View in CoL — Attems, 1898: 350 (L, K); 1914: 206 (L, K); 1936: 208 (L, K); 1937: 105 (D, K); Weidner, 1960: 80 (L); Jeekel, 1965a: 120 (D, K); 1968: 59 (M); Nguyen, 2010: 53 (L); Nguyen and Sierwald, 2013: 1276 (L).
Records from Myanmar: Rangoon; Palon in Pegu ( Pocock 1895). Originally based on two adult female syntypes from Rangoon and several immature syntypes from Palon in Pegu, mostly in the London Museum, one syntype (immature?) in the Hamburg Museum. Jeekel (1965a) redescribed and designated the only adult female in the Genoa Museum as lectotype. He also identified the sole male syntype of A. pinguis View in CoL as actually representing A. obesus View in CoL (see just above).
