Doubtful/unconfirmed records

The specimen from Pernambuco, Tapera, mentioned by Mello-Leitão (1923) [and repeated by B. Soares 1945] as Protimesius gracilis is a misidentification of Pickeliana pickeli (see H. Soares 1978). Amazonas, Manaus ( Mello-Leitão 1923, followed by Roewer 1931) – misidentification of Obidosus sp., see B. Soares 1946: 526.
