Type:— CHINA. Chongqing [Szechuan]: Beibei [Pa-hsien, Pehpei], Mt. Jinyun [Tsinyun-shan], 24 February 1939, Y. Z. Sun 1434 ( PE0029037 , lectotype designated by Lin et al. 2016; isolectotypes CQNM0020749 About CQNM , NAS00070935 About NAS ) .

Note: —In the protologue, Yang (1945) designated three gatherings Y. Z. Sun 1434, C. W. Yao 3438 and Y. C. Yang 3267 as types of male flower, female flower and immature fruit type respectively. Lin at al. (2016) chose one duplicate of Y. Z. Sun 1434 ( PE0029037 ) with male inflorescence as the lectotype.
