≡ Neolitsea aurata var. chekiangensis (Nakai)Yen C.Yang & P.H.Huang in Yang et al. (1978: 39).

Note: —In the protologue, the collecting date of Y. Y. Ho 1626 was written by Nakai (1940) as 6 October 1922, however, it is clearly stated on the duplicates at CQNM, PE and SYS that it was collected on 6 October 1932.
