Type:— CHINA. Zhejiang [Chekiang]: Tian Tai shan [Tientai Shan], Fang Guang Si , elev. ca. 400 m, 8 August 1934, S. Chen 3718 (holotype PE00022196 ; isotypes A00033879 , CQNM0017378 About CQNM , PE00022197 , PE00934493 , SYS00054947 About SYS ).

Note:—The sheet PE00022196 corresponds the image in the protologue (Liu 1935), it is therefore the holotype, and the duplicates in other herbaria are all isotypes. The locality Fang Guang Si (Ẇ广寺) is identical in the field label of the duplicates at CQNM and PE.
