Type:— CHINA. Guangxi [Kwangsi]: Lingyun Xian [Linyen], [Bing-loo], elev. ca. 860 m, 2 August 1928, R. C. Ching 6630 (lectotype designated here, PE00023269 ; isolectotypes CQNM0004988 About CQNM , IBSC0375020 About IBSC , NAS00070477 About NAS , PE00023270 ) .

Note:—Handel-Mazzetti (1931a) did not specify the herbarium where the type specimen was deposited. Five duplicates were traced and all of them are thus syntypes under Art. 9.6 ( Turland et al. 2018). Among of them, the duplicate at PE (00023269), which Lin & Yang (2015b) indicated as “ holotype ”, bears the printed identification label with the annotation “type” and is preserved in good condition. It is therefore selected as the lectotype here.
