Type:—Hort. Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, 1857, Madagascar, s.c. s.n. (lectotype K barcode K000232802), lectotype designated by Figueiredo & Smith (2018: 24).

Notes:— Smith & Monro (2024) showed that the name K. prolifera was validly published by Hamet (1907: 881) and not by Hamet (1908: 19).
