Notes. With iridescent peridium alternated with thick calcareous scales, more noticeable in the upper part ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ). Similar to Ph. australiense S.L. Stephenson, Novozh. & Prikhodko , distinguishable by the calcareous columella, but the two species could be conspecific regarding the remaining morphological traits.
