Notes. Previously known only from Rio Grande do Sul ( Brazil) ( Farr 1988). This species has a triple peridium and stalked sporocarps, similar to Diderma subasteroides , but differs by the shape of the columella, prominent and subglobose in this species, flattened in D. stellulum .
