Notes. The studied specimens differ from the typical form of the species by the columella, reduced to a basal protuberance or inconspicuous instead of prominent and conspicuous ( Poulain et al. 2011, Nannenga-Bremekamp 1991). Lado et al. (2016) also noticed these differences in Peruvian specimens from the coastal desert and Lomas formations.
