Specimen examined. PERU. Ancash: Huaraz, Cajamarquilla , 4233 m, 9º40′24.5”S, 77º41′46.0”W, 22 Apr 2013, leaves of Puya raimondii, Lado 23083 (MA-Fungi 95245, USM) GoogleMaps .

Notes. Spores in the Peruvian material ranged from 10–12.5 µm in diameter, as opposed to 8–10 µm described by Poulain et al. (2011) or 7–10 µm described by Lister (1925).
