Specimen examined. PERU. Ancash: Huari, Huari, Huamparán , 10 km south of Huachococha lagoon and 14 km north of Huamparán , 4162 m, 9º11′39”S, 77º12′42”W, 12 May 2018, grasses ( Festuca sp. ), Lado 26413 (MA-Fungi 97201) GoogleMaps .
Notes. Maybe the largest one in size of the genus Lamproderma , according to Martin & Alexopoulos (1969), reaching up to 4 mm high. Microscopically, L. echinulatum stands out by its spores, 17–20 µm in diameter and ornamented with prominent, scattered spinules.
