Habitat: —Forest floor in montane forest, elev. 1889 m.

Distribution in Rwanda:—Western Province: Cyamudongo Forest.

General distribution: —Africa: D.R. Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, S Africa. Also in Réunion.
