COMMENTS: Parkes (1971: 22) cited the AMNH number of the type in the original description, gave the range of this taxon as Samar, Leyte, and Bohol islands, and stated that he examined a total of nine specimens, including the holotype. Only one of the paratypes, AMNH 768361, a male, is currently held. AMNH 768362, an immature male, was returned to the Philippine National Museum, but, if examined by Parkes, it is also a paratype.
