Pterocaesio lativittata Carpenter, 1987

This species was observed only once in zone 1 at a depth of 100 m, in the open water above hard and loose substrata ( Tab. I, Fig. 7 ). The specimen measured approximately 22 cm (TL); body colouration light reddish on the belly, bluish on the back, with a yellow stripe along the medial portion of its body, narrower above the eye and widening behind the eye before narrowing again on the caudal peduncle; tips of caudal-fin lobes blackish.
