Canthigaster tyleri Allen & Randall, 1977 View in CoL
A single specimen of this species was observed during a dive in zone 1 ( Tab. I, Fig. 10 View Figure 10 ). The individual was an adult measuring approximately 5 cm (TL). The body colour was pale, with a white belly, dark patches on the sides and a network of bluish lines on the nose, forehead and back. Two bluish patches were present behind each eye. The fins were transparent. The specimen was observed over a MCE dominated habitat by benthic communities of hard substrata, characteristic for these zones, and mainly composed of soft corals ( Alcyonacea – Holaxonia), black corals ( Antipatharia ) and sponges (Porifera).
