Priolepis nocturna View in CoL (Smith, 1957)

This species was observed only once in zone 1 at a depth of 100 m, in an MCE habitat dominated by sponges (Porifera), soft corals ( Alcyonacea, Holaxonia ) and black corals ( Antipatharia ) ( Tab. I, Fig. 9 View Figure 9 ). The specimen measured approximately 10 cm (TL); body colouration pale, with five wide transverse, dark brown stripes. A dark eye-sized blotch distally on the dorsal fin. It was observed on the ground.
