Material examined. 1♂ apterous (USNM): ‘ Peru S. A.\ April 1925 1935\ F. Woytkowskii, Near Viena Andes\ bank R. Ronatullo, 2600m. above sea, Field notes\ No. 3513, Velia , inveruglas \ Det. J. T. Polhemus’.
Comments. This species does not seem to be commonly collected. The holotype came from Ecuador, with an additional record from Peru provided by D. Polhemus (2014).
