Biology.
Reared from nests of Vespa , Vespula , Dolichovespula and Provespa spp. ( Vespinae: Vespidae ); the larva of at least one species has a final ectoparasitoid phase ( Carmean and Kimsey 1998) after the initial endoparasitoid phase. Collected in August–October.
Distribution.
East Palaearctic, Nearctic (but intruding Central America by reaching SW Mexico), Oriental.
