Notes
Colonies massive, sub-massive or encrusting. Maximum recorded size: 60 cm across. Corallites are cerioid, with oblong or polygonal calyces of even size, between 3.0 to 25.0 mm across; they share walls that can be smooth or serrated-looking. Colours vary from brown to yellow and sometimes orange or green. Dipsastraea appears superficially similar, but corallites do not share walls (Fig. 93).
