Recorded from: freshwater lakes and/or pools. Locations: Macquarie I. §, [Holarctic]. Note. § The status of this record is uncertain ( sensu Frey, 1993b ) and probably represents a synonym of another Alona species , most probably A. quadrangulari s or A. weinecki . The species (though not the Macquarie record) status is validated ( Korovchinsky, 1996). Not listed in table 2.
