Recorded from: gut of Salvelinus fontinalis in a stream.

Location: Îles Kerguelen.

Note. § This was described under Kerguelenella Powell, 1951 a junior synonym of Pugillaria Iredale, 1924 (Siphonaridae: Pulmonata: Mollusca) sensu Vaught (1989) . Barnard and Karaman (1991) contains two genera which may be appropriate to this species: Kerguelenia Stebbing 1888 , which includes a K. macropoda though Kergueleniola appears to be more probable. Without an ICZN nomenclature ruling the designation is merely provisional and no proposal is oOEered here.
