DISTRIBUTION: Burma and Thailand south of 18° N., south through Malay Peninsula; Sumatra. Formerly, S. China, and probably parts of Kampuchea, Laos, and Vietnam.

PROTECTED STATUS: CITES - Appendix I and U.S. ESA - Endangered.
