General distribution pattern. In tropical and subtropical Africa: Cameroon, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. In the Palearctic region it was found in Yemen. Distribution in Ethiopia. Southern Ethiopia (Bale and Sidamo regions). Rare.
