Vernacular Names: Little Red Kaluta.
Distribution: NW Western Australia.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Rare.
Discussion: Formerly included in Antechinus ; separated by Archer (1982). Its closest affinities are to Parantechinus apicalis ( Krajewski et al., 1997 a) .
