Chlorogloea sp.3 ( Fig. 9J View FIGURE 9 ).

Colonies round to amorphous. Sub-colonies rounded, 5.75–21.96 µm diam. Sheath firm, smooth, thin, hyaline or inconspicuous. Cells in radial rows or densely arranged, sphaerical, 1.73–3.64 µm diam. Cell content homogenous, blue-green. Without cells in resting stage.

Habitat:— Tree bark.

Notes:— The corticolous habitat and cell dimensions differ this morphotype from other Chlorogloea species.
