Dapisostemon sp. ( Fig. 10L–N View FIGURE 10 ).
Filaments in fascicles, erect, forming black mats, 8.65–12.62 µm wide. Trichomes cylindrical, with tolypothricoid branching in the apical portion, constricted only in apical portion. Sheath firm, 0.4–2.2 µm wide, non-lamellated, hyaline to brown. Cells isodiametric to sub-quadratic, 6.32–10.27 µm wide, 4.14–10.15 µm long, ratio l/w = 0.93. Cell content granulated, blue-green. Basal heterocyte semielliptical or elliptical to short when intercalary, 6.74–9,13 µm wide, 4.89–10.14 µm long. Necridia present.
Habitat: —Tree bark; associated with Gloeocapsa sp.1 , Stigonema corticola , and Gloeocapsopsis sp.
Notes: —This morphotype differs from Dapisostemon apicaliramis Hentschke , Sant’Anna et Johansen by its filament width, sheath without lamellae, cell content and habitat.
Studied material: — PEUFR55774 , PEUFR55781
