Asterocapsa divina Komárek (1993: 33) ( Fig. 7R View FIGURE 7 ; 8A–E View FIGURE 8 ).
Colonies round or solitary cells, 10.57–66.4 µm wide. Sheath firm, conspicuous, 0.74–3.23 µm wide, lamellate, smooth, hyaline to greenish-yellow to reddish-brown. Cell elliptical, spherical or irregular, 2.77–9.62 µm diam. Individual envelopes present or not, smooth to slightly granulated, non-lamellated, 0.45–1.36 µm wide. Cell content homogenous to granulated, blue-green.
